Closing.com is the most comprehensive source for real estate closing services on the Web. Designed to bring transparency to the closing process, the site empowers consumers and real estate professionals to shop, compare and evaluate real estate closing services in their area. Visitors to the site can learn more about a real estate provider’s products and services and rates, and make direct inquiries online.
Closing.com's SmartClosing Calculator enables home buyers to estimate their closing costs, including monthly payments and cash needed to close. Sellers can use the calculator to quickly estimate their net proceeds. In August 2009, the SmartClosing Calculator won the prestigious Inman award for Most Innovative New Technology.
The company has also developed the SmartGFE service for the banking community, which delivers live rates directly from service providers to help lenders and mortgage brokers create HUD-compliant Good Faith Estimates, quickly and efficiently. The service is currently integrated with Calyx(R)Point(R), the nation's leading loan origination software and will be released as an online service in March.
